Issue
- When is Liferay going to be compatible with Spring 6.1?
Resolution

Spring 6.1.x also requires Jakarta EE 9+ API, which is not currently supported by DXP. The initial release of Java 21 this year (at the time of writing this article) will still be using
javax
namespace.
- However, the plans for Java compatibility will be communicated along with the forthcoming 2024.Q2 release to provide some clarity.
